Boating

**Motorized boating and sailing will not be permitted on Sloan’s Lake in 2021. However, non-motorized, hand launched craft such as canoes, paddleboards, and kayaks will be allowed.  As Sloan’s Lake is extremely shallow, an environmental study is being conducted to better understand the impact of various recreational activities that effect the lake.  This study will assist us in determining future recreation on Sloan’s Lake while taking into consideration public safety and the long-term health of the lake.
